Description
The field of Human Services is founded on the reality that people are not always able to meet their own needs. In this course, we'll discuss the importance of viewing clients within the context of their environment, as they experience a broad range of problems in living in a variety of domains. We'll discuss ways to support clients to understand the interdependent nature of the issues they face, and the value in developing assets to support them to become stable and secure. By working with clients in this way, we address the whole person, and empower them to help themselves as much as possible.
